What does it mean if the sharpness value decreases over the duration of a measurement?
If the sharpness value decreases by more than 1/10th of its initial value over the course of a measurement it usually means that the sample drifted out of focus. This will negatively affect data quality. We recommend checking that the Auto-Focus is locked and repeating the experiment.
