Are there replacements for the magnets that hold the coverslip in place?
We recommend getting 5 mm neodymium magnets. These can be purchased in standard household or tool supply stores or online.

Is there a specific reason why the stage was designed to use magnets? Why not just put clips that hold the coverslip in place like a majority of stage designs?
On our first instrument use we've already had one of the tiny magnets fall into the instrument.
