How long should a single measurement be?
The default recording time is 1 minute and this setting is recommended for most samples. It can be customized by adjusting the number of frames recorded in AMP. Recording times of 2 or 3 minutes can help for low concentrated samples. However, when increasing the recording time it should be considered that the solution will start to be depleted of molecules and the glass surface might saturate, leading to worse quality data. The rate of full and partial unbinding events increases over time, which adds noise to the data.
