How can I update to the latest version of the Refeyn AcquireMP and Refeyn DiscoverMP software?
To update both AcquireMP and DiscoverMP follow these steps:
Make sure all instances of AcquireMP and DiscoverMP are closed.
Uninstall the respective software by going to Control Panel → Programs → Programs and Features and then selecting the application to uninstall.
Check the uninstall has been successful by going to C:\Program Files (x86) in the windows file explorer and checking that the folder for the uninstalled software no longer exists.
Once the software has been fully uninstalled execute the new version’s executable and follow the steps. The EULA will need to be acceptedand the option needs to be ticked to create a desktop shortcut.
Once the installer has been completed the software should be ready to go.
Note: Updating the software will not require a re-entering of the license keys if they have been previously activated.
