Can I revert to a previous software version of Refeyn AcquireMP and Refeyn DiscoverMP?
Our best advice is to always work with the latest version of both AcquireMP and DiscoverMP.
In general, we support backwards compatibility but not forwards compatibility. This means updating AcquireMP or DiscoverMP does not create any problems but reverting to a previous version might (and often will). Specifically, aresults folder generated with an older DiscoverMP version will be supported in a new DiscoverMP version but not the other way around. Similarly, MP files can be opened in DiscoverMP if the DiscoverMP version is the same or greater than the AcquireMP version used for acquisition. So, AcquireMP 2.0.0 will work with DiscoverMP 2.0.0 and greater but not with DiscoverMP 1.2.3.
