Hi John,
There’s a description on how to export the 1 minute movies in the DiscoverMP User Manual.
In summary, what you need to do is:
1. Right click on the file to export
2. Select the export/movie
3. Choose whether you want to export the ratiometric or native movie
4. Select the start and end frames (i.e. how many frames you wish to export…most people don’t need the entire movie, but if they do, the default frame numbers will include the entire movie)
5. You can increase the frame rate if you want the movie to be speeded up (i.e. 150 frames at 10Hz will be ~15sec of movie; 150 frames at 30Hz will be ~5sec of movie)
6. You can play with the other features in dialogue box, but for basic movie you leave defaults as they are
7. Click on export
8. Name the file and select the format (i.e. MP4, MOV, AVI, Tiff, etc). TIFF format is useful only if individual frames will be analyzed by 3rd party software
9. Open movie with media player such as Windows Media Player or import into Powerpoint
Hope that helps!
